A woman has been left feeling furious after coming back to her car to find a passive-aggressive note on her windscreen, saying her parking "sucked". When people think someone has done a poor job of parking their vehicle, they sometimes scribble a handwritten note asking them to move - but this snide comment was printed on a business card.
The note, which read "You suck at parking, seriously," was left by another resident on her street when she parked in front of someone else's house. But she disputed that she had parked badly, as it wasn't blocking anyone's driveway. The business card also said: "Aliens searching for intelligent life would see your parking, laugh and leave. Learn to park. Please get some lessons," along with a fake website address "www.YourParkingSucks.co.uk".
The woman, who had parked on Recreation Street in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, described the problem as an "ongoing issue." Speaking anonymously, she said: "I was left a note to ask not to block access but the thing was I hadn't. I had only parked outside their house, so some individuals think that they are entitled to park outside their own home, when they don't have a driveway, and parking on the street is on a first come first served basis. Obviously I'm not an idiot and would never park over anyone's driveway should they have one."
According to the woman, this isn't the first time there's been contention caused by parking, but those without driveways park where they can, reports NottinghamshireLive.
In a post on social media, she continued: "Unfortunately, people who live on Recreation Street seem to think that leaving passive-aggressive notes is acceptable, it's not. Utter boomer entitled behaviour. Give the pennies to charity instead of buying tat."

In another area of the country, angry neighbours took matters into their own hands after getting tired of cars regularly parking on the street where they lived. The angry residents decided to slap notes on the parked vehicles' windscreens, telling them to park elsewhere.
The passive-aggressive notes were written on behalf of the "Residents of the Road" on a street in Bristol, but one anonymous resident said the notes were "sinister" and that "it's not their road, it's for everyone".
