Peter Andre has revealed his tough parenting rules for his children, after confirming in May his teenage daughter is dating her first official boyfriend.

The English musician is the father of 16-year-old Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther with ex-wife Katie Price, as well 18-year-old Junior Savva Andreas. He is also the dad to two younger kids, son Theo, six, nine-year-old daughter Amelia, with his second wife, Emily MacDonagh.

In an new interview, Peter has opened up his no-nonsense approach to raising his beloved children. The 50-year-old shared that his expectations for his kids are "very straightforward" – so much so, that they don't even challenge them anymore.

"Any parenting tips or rules are only as good as they are in your house," the Mysterious Girl singer explains in an interview with the MailOnline. "My rules in my house are very straightforward. Everyone knows them, it's not even a question."

Princess and Junior are also required to follow certain rules when they invite their boyfriends or girlfriends over, including avoiding trips to the bedrooms and keeping doors open. Any romantic interests are also asked to leave before it gets dark, according to the British vocalist.

"With boyfriends or girlfriends, it's downstairs, doors are open and it's daytime," he adds, before clarifying he plans to make exceptions in the future. "Down the line if there is a sleepover, one can sleep downstairs."

"We have younger children too and you don't want them seeing things," he continues. "If the relationship ends and then you bring someone else in, it doesn't look right and as far as the little kids are concerned it's always a friend is over." Peter, who married doctor Emily in 2015, acknowledged that his rules are "strict" but insists he stands by them. "Like I said, downstairs, doors open and daytime," the Strictly Come Dancing alum reiterated.

Peter and Emily, who first met in 2010 after the TV personality was treated by the doctor's father for kidney stones, have also hinted at the possibility of welcoming a third child into their blended family. Speaking to Hello! magazine in October 2022, Emily revealed that she wasn't opposed to having another baby with her heartthrob husband. The NHS medic did say that she and Peter were 'on the fence' about the decision, however, before adding that any third child of theirs would need to be 'planned.'
