Another day, another Diablo 4 patch. This time it's a hotfix following the big update this week to fix everything going wrong with Season 1, and should alleviate grind for Wrathful Hearts and Invokers.

Diablo 4's endgame and Season 1 content hasn't landed well with players – understandable, given it's been a decade since the last mainline entry of Diablo 3 and Blizzard's first bash at a live service Diablo title. The developers have held livestreams to discuss community concerns and changes heading to the game based on feedback, and this week we got the long-anticipated Diablo 4 update 1.1.1, intended to bring balance to the five character classes.

But it didn't address everything, with the Fury Against Fate bug still running rampant in the game post-patch. Diablo global community development director, Adam Fletcher, assured players that it hadn't been forgotten about, saying that the studio "will try to get that in this hotfix." It didn't.

Patch notes for Diablo 4 hotfix 6 are here and the Fate Against Fury bug didn't make the cut. Fletcher did tweet out an update on the quest, saying it'll get zapped in update 1.1.2. He didn't give us a date for the impending patch, simply saying it'll be "coming up very soon".

The Diablo 4 hotfix isn't a complete washout though; it'll make the Season 1 grind significantly less frustrating thanks to bumping up the drop rate and craft chance for Wrathful Hearts and Invokers

Diablo 4 hotfix 6 patch notes

As well as increasing the drop rate and craft chance for Wrathful Hearts and Invokers, there's now also a chance that Wrathful Invokers (and other Invokers) will drop from elites.

Miscellaneous

I don't know what was going on with the drop rates pre this hotfix, but those percentages were harsh to say the least. The increase should help you out but it would have been handy to have some more transparency on just how stingy it was. As one Twitter user points out, having the drop rate and crafting percentages listed would have saved players time wasting materials.

Hopefully we'll see more of this going forward. There have been so many patches since the game's launch in June, and update 1.1.1 was a chance to turn around the bad blood building in the community, but there's still a lot to, as evidenced by this latest Diablo 4 hotfix.
