Kim Kardashian has been brutally slammed by fans and critics for a "tone deaf" post about getting an MRI scan, with many quick to fume over how "entitled" the star is.
The SKIMS founder and reality television personality, 42, recently promoted a full body scan. Kim insisted that the snap promoting the company that carried out her scan was not a paid advertisement, with her gushing over the benefits of undergoing the scan.
Taking to Instagram, in full view of her 363million followers, Kim penned a caption that read: "I recently did this @prenuvo scan and had to tell you all about this life-saving machine. The Prenuvo full-body scan has the ability to detect cancer and diseases such as aneurysms in its earliest stages, before symptoms arise. It was like getting a MRI for an hour with no radiation. It has really saved some of my friends lives and I just wanted to share #NotAnAd."

Kim beamed for the camera while promoting the service, which left her fans totally divided.
Paris Hilton commented on the post and gushed over how much she loved the scan, which is priced at $2,499 (£1,961) while many others were unimpressed by how the "average American" couldn't afford this, with Kim then slammed for being "disconnected from reality".

Meanwhile, on Reddit, one critic shared the post and asked: "Are they this far gone?" before adding: "??? Do they not know MRI, PET SCANS, even some ultrasounds people have to fight and scratch a physician to get an order then tussle with insurance? ….and still be stuck with a bill???? .People have strokes and heart attacks all day and their family is sad because they know their love one wanted to get checked out but couldn’t. This mess needs to stop its disgusting and entitled behavior."
One person then commented: "She’s so goddamn pathetic and tone deaf," while another challenged the star: "Kim….. who has access to this just laying around?" And a third fumed: "Currently sitting here with a blown-out knee waiting for an MRI."
Another noted how the post was "triggering and upsetting", while someone else explained how their husband has been on a waiting list for an MRI for three years. While another urged that Kim does not live in the "real world".
But sticking up for the star, one person waded in and added: "Kim K doesn’t control the US healthcare system. She’s just promoting something used in addition to typical healthcare… just like the rest of the entire wellness industry. This doesn’t affect your waiting lists."
