Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater's romance is "still progressing" despite the fact that he is in the process of getting divorced from his wife, according to reports.
The pop singer, 30, is said to have met her alleged new boyfriend Ethan, 31, while they were filming the Wicked movie in England. Filming commenced in December, with Ari and Ethan said to have spent time together away from work.
News broke at the end of July that Ariana had moved on from her marriage to Dalton Gomez with the Spongebob Squarepants star. This came at the same time that rumours swirled around Ari and her alleged separation from her husband, which came after she was spotted without her wedding ring while at Wimbledon.
With the news then emerging of Ari and Ethan's romance, the actor's wife, Lilly Jay, whom he has been married to for five years, revealed that she was "blindsided", with it then claimed that Ethan filed for divorce from his wife so he can presumably carry on romancing the Thank U, Next singer.

"Ethan is trying to be as amicable as possible with Lilly as he navigates his next steps," the source revealed to the outlet. They then added that he "wants to be the best dad" that he can be, despite the current situation he is embroiled in. Ethan is also said to be keeping his family life as private as possible, despite his romance with Ariana hitting headlines around the globe.
The source also notes that Ariana is being respectful of the situation too, with her "trying to give him space" while he gets everything in order, although they affirmed that their romance is "progressing".

TMZ reported at the time that the couple tried and failed to reconcile after being apart due to the singer filming Wicked caused them to grow apart. The outlet also quoted a source who said that the couple's marriage "is heading for divorce."
