Peter Andre has spoken out on his "rift" with TV chef Gino D'Acampo after revealing during an appearance on This Morning that the pals had a disagreement over the singer's cooking abilities.
During a surprisingly appearance on This Morning where Peter cooked for hosts Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary, the singer told the show he wasn't pleased with regular cook Gino.
Addressing the "rift", Peter has now revealed: "There was a funny story in the press last week that there’s a 'rift' between me and Gino D’Acampo, but obviously that couldn’t be further from the truth! Basically he wants to admit that he loves my cooking, but he can’t bring himself to do it."
"Gino and his family are like family to me. He’s like my brother – but as I always say, Greeks do it better. Admittedly not pasta," the singer and TV personality told Closer magazine.
Peter, who is currently showing off his culinary skills on Cooking with the Stars, hinted at the "rift" when he joined This Morning to rustle up a dish for Holly and Dermot.

"That doesn’t sound like him at all," Dermot sarcastically interjected as Peter continued: "I said to him, 'Sit down', obviously politely, I said, 'Sit down, let me make you the Greek pasta and then you can tell me what you think. And he had it and he was telling me how wrong it was, and then he went back for seconds!"
"So, what’s in the Greek pasta?" Holly asked to which the Mysterious Girl singer cheekily replied: "It’s just done with Greek love."
Addressing the night in question further, Peter told The Sun's TV Mag: "When I did cook for Gino, I have to say he tried to tell me my pasta was no good! He had two plates, so don’t give me that! He went back for seconds so I know he loved it.
"The Greeks and the Italians have this constant battle about how they make pasta, and the sauces that we use. The Italians say it originated there and the Greeks are like: ‘Well, we’ve got our version.’"
"But of course, he’s a chef, I’m not a chef. But then he was like: ‘No, you can’t put this in the water,’ and I was like: ‘Gino, sit down and enjoy it.’ And then he went back for seconds."
