Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen – event pass rewards, quests, Sorcerer Grades
Fortnite update 25.30 has introduced a new collab, with a new event pass based on the popular Jujutsu Kaisen manga series.
The Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collab has arrived alongside Fortnite update 25.30, and much like the Star Wars x Fortnite Find the Force event earlier this year, there's a brand new event pass to go along with some new mythic items. The Hollow Technique: Purple or Straw Doll Technique are brand new abilities pulled straight from the series. Purple allows players to erase buildings in their path, with damage dealt over time to enemies, while Straw Doll is a hammer item that launches nails filled with cursed energy towards opponents.
For those unaware Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga beginning in Shonen Jump Magazine (home of Dragon Ball Z and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) before spinning off into an anime series in 2020. The series follows a group of young sorcerers who can harness Cursed Energy from within the bodies of living beings.
Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen: Break the Curse! event pass
The Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Break the Curse! event pass hosts 24 different rewards across a free track and paid track (costing 1,000 V-Bucks) of the event pass. As you complete Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen quests you'll earn Cursed Energy which unlocks different tiers. Both the free and paid version of the event pass has 11 tiers each, with each level unlocking on both tracks at the same time. The rewards included in the free path are as follows:

Battle Pass Level Up – 3,000 Cursed Energy

Meanwhile, the rewards for the paid path of the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen event pass are as follows:
- Confused Yuji Emoticon – 1,000 Cursed Energy
- Tsukamoto Bear Back Bling – 2,000 Cursed Energy
- Battle Pass Level Up – 3,000 Cursed Energy
- Cursed Energy Emote – 4,000 Cursed Energy
- Battle Pass Level Up – 5,000 Cursed Energy
- Yuji's Curse spray – 6,000 Cursed Energy
- Cursed Energy Flow Wrap – 7,000 Cursed Energy
- Battle Pass Level Up – 8,000 Cursed Energy
- Slaughter Demon Pickaxe – 9,000 Cursed Energy
- Battle Pass Level Up – 10,000 Cursed Energy
- Yuji Itadori Skin – 11,000 Cursed Energy
Players who purchase the paid version of the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Break the Curse event pass will also receive the Streetwear Yuji Itadori Skin upon purchase.
Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen: Sorcerer Grades
There's one other unlockable for the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Break the Curse event pass, and that's the Nue Glider. This Glider is unlocked by obtaining five Sorcerer Grades, which can be obtained by completing a Grade of the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen quests. The Grade 4 quests are in-game now, with new quests being added twice a week. Once all five batches of quests are completed you'll have obtained five Sorcerer Grades and the Nue Glider by extension.
Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen: quests
The Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Break the Curse event will have five batches of quests, the first batch – Grade 4 – is live in-game now, with further quests being added regularly until Thursday, August 17.
The Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Grade 4 quests are as follows:
- Help in hunting three Cursed Llamas – 400 Cursed Energy
- Collect Hollow Purple or Straw Doll Technique in three different matches – 300 Cursed Energy
- Deal 1,250 damage to opponents using Hollow Purple or Straw Doll Technique
- Travel under three different bridges
- Deal 1,000 damage to opponents using Assault Rifles
- Visit six different named locations
- Assist in searching 50 chests or ammo boxes
The remaining Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen quests will arrive in-game at the following times:
- The Grade 3 Quests go live August 10 at 2pm BST / 9am EDT / 6am PDT
- The Grade 2 Quests go live August 15 at2pm BST / 9am EDT / 6am PDT
- The Grade 1 Quests and Special Grade Quests go live August 17 at 2pm BST / 9am EDT / 6am PDT
The Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Break the Curse event will remain available until Friday, August 25, when Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is set to begin.
