Emmerdale fans 'rumble' Nicky's mum twist with 'link' to villain newcomer

Emmerdale fans think they have rumbled an upcoming twist on the hit ITV soap involving Nicky's mystery mum. Fans will recall that Nicky's dad, Caleb Milligan, was recently revealed to be linked to newcomer, Corey Sanderson, who is the manager of a private hire company. Corey has gone into business with Cain Dingle, which Caleb has secretly orchestrated as a silent investor after sabotaging the Dingles' meat business earlier this year.

And just when things couldn't get any more complicated, Nate Robinson has become involved in the side hustle as he knows Corey from school and was left shocked to discover his uncle Caleb was behind the business deal. On Monday's episode, viewers were introduced to new client Harry, played by Robert Beck, who has returned to the hit ITV soap after 24 years. Nate has now found himself caught up in another illegitimate side hustle with Corey and Harry without Caleb knowing in a bid to earn extra cash.

Soap watchers now think Harry could in fact be linked to Caleb's estranged wife and Nicky's mystery mum, resulting in the character finally making a debut in the village. Viewers have been left intrigued over Nicky's mum's identity after the former Home Farm nanny repeatedly mentioned her earlier this year, even claiming his and Caleb's failed plan to steal Kim Tate's money was in part to help out his "mam".

Taking to social media, one person said: "I still want to know when they are going to finally cast Nicky's mum! We need her to come out the woodwork soon" to which one fan replied: "Think the new guy has something to do with her if he the boss of Caleb". Elsewhere, a different account put: "Deffo look forward to it!", while another viewer added: "Agreed. Gut feeling she will soon."

It comes as some viewers think Nicky's mum could be Defence Barrister Milligan, who represented serial killer Meena Jutla last year, as they both have the same last name.

Furthermore, Caleb boasted about his legal connections when first arriving in the village and even helped Cain with son Kyle Winchester after Al Chapman's death. One eagle-eyed fan previously tweeted: "Is Nicky's mum the Defence Barrister Milligan (Amy Robbins) from Meena's court plea hearing? Is that how Caleb was able to help Kyle with legal stuff? #emmerdale."
