Liverpool will have a new-look midfield when they kick off their Premier League campaign against Chelsea on August 13.

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have been signed, boosting manager Jurgen Klopp's options but Liverpool are in the market for more reinforcements. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours.

Man Utd eye Liverpool target
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has been a long-term transfer target for Liverpool, but rivals Manchester United have now been linked with the France international.
According to Diario Sport, Real are 'willing to listen to offers' for Tchouameni and that both United and Bayern Munich are interested in signing him. The report states that United are weighing up making a bid for the 23-year-old.
Tchouameni was heavily linked with Liverpool last summer before making the move to Real and the Reds have once again been linked with a swoop this summer, but appear to have turned their attention to other targets instead.
Romeo Lavia (George Wood/Getty)Lavia talks continue
Liverpool have already had two bids rejected by Southampton for Romeo Lavia, but Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws state that they are 'not giving up' on signing him.
The Reds are in desperate need of a new midfielder following Henderson and Fabinho's moves to Saudi Arabia and Lavia is their top target. However, Southampton are believed to value the Belgian international at around £50m and are holding out for their asking price.
The report states that Liverpool are unwilling to meet it and the two clubs 'continue to argue' over the fee. It is added that Lavia is keen on a move to Anfield and has already agreed personal terms.
