Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to have some "serious problems in America" after a series of very brutal snubs, according to reports.

The Times reported that Mitchell Jackson, a celebrity publicist and the founder of BCC Communications, believes the couple are struggling in Hollywood. He said that the couple have "too much baggage" and that event organisers fear that should the couple attend, their event would be overshadowed. He also spoke of the "serious problems" hanging over them.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped back as working members of the Royal Family in 2020, have recently been hit with blow after blow. Firstly it was their $20 million (£15.5m) Spotify deal coming to an abrupt end that saw Meghan's Archetypes podcast come to a halt.

Meghan and Harry were axed from the streaming platform following their initial one-off episode together before Meghan launched her own series - Archetypes. The 12-episode series saw Meghan chat to different celebrity pals, including tennis icon Serena Williams, legendary singer Mariah Carey, and socialite Paris Hilton.

After the Spotify axe, the couple were then brutally snubbed at the Primetime Emmy Awards after they were tipped to have been in the running for a nomination for their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan. Then it emerged that the couple have been embroiled in an alleged "bitter rift" with David and Victoria Beckham, with it claimed that the Harry kept his friend David at arms' length in 2018 because Meghan feared Victoria was leaking stories about her to the press.

Not only this, but Meghan has said to have been snubbed by a slew of high-profile celebrities including the likes of George Clooney, and Oprah Winfrey who also seemingly snubbed the couple when she was reported to have left them off of the invite list for her 69th birthday party, although a spokesperson for the talk show host told us: “It was not a party for Ms Winfrey nor hosted by her. It was a party for Anastasia Soare celebrating 25 years in business, gathering women who had supported her during her career. The party was a day before Oprah’s birthday and the host presented her with a cake.”

Then just last week Meghan was dealt the "most British snub" imaginable when the Royal Family failed to wish her a happy birthday on social media, as they tend to do with most members and loved ones.

In the aforementioned Times article, Mitchell went on: "You can’t be self-important and last long in America," he urged. He then referenced American showman and politician when he added: "This is PT Barnum’s country. I think they have serious problems."
