Presenter Ashleigh Louise has unveiled her incredible five stone weight loss with a before and after post on Twitter.
The Talks With Ash host looked great in both photos, but revealed she had been spurred on to lose weight after feeling “unhappy and uncomfortable” at a celebrity event she attended last year.
But 12 months on, Ashleigh was back at the star-studded GRM Gala - which celebrates Black British excellence in music, sports and entertainment - and said instead of leaving after 45 mins, this time she stayed until the very end.
She wrote: “The picture on the left is me at the GRM Gala in 2022. I was so unhappy and uncomfortable, embarrassed and I left after 45 minutes. The right was yesterday 5 stone 8lbs down (78lbs or 36kg down) and I still have ALOT of work to do but I stayed until the end and I had fun.”

The TV star has lost five stone (Instagram)In further comments underneath, the 31-year-old told her 53,000 followers she was “really proud of her progress” and said she was “almost half way”. She added: “I am just so sad because I know the girl on the left was so lost that day! Working my ass off to get this 6 stone loss now!”

Ashleigh’s fans were quick to post messages of support, with one saying: “Gwan Ashleigh!”. While another wrote: “Oh wow!!! So impressive! Go Girl.” A third chimed in to say: “So inspirational” and a fifth said: “Yesss! You did that!”
“You look absolutely stunning in both! I pray you continue to reach the goal you want. nevertheless you’re beautiful either way. Killed both dresses in both pictures. Everything on point. Glad you had fun,” a fifth added.
Sharing what a different experience she had at the GRM Gala this year, Ashley said: “The GRM Gala yesterday was beautiful. The drinks were overflowing, the food was impeccable, the decor gorgeous, they took on last year’s feedback and provided more seating, lots of air con units, music was fire, sliders and fans being handed out and the vibes were 10/10.”
This year’s ceremony was held at central London’s Sky Garden, on top of the famous Walkie Talkie building. Other big names making an appearance at the event included rapper Stormzy, former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Radio 1Xtra Snoochie Shy. Music stars Kojey Radical, Tion Wayne, Krept & Konan were also spotted walking the red carpet.
