Peter Andre has admitted he's concerned for his daughter Princess after confessing he was 'struggling beyond belief' over her first boyfriend.
Princess, 16, recently bagged a lucrative deal with fashion house, Pretty Little Thing, following in the footsteps of celebrity offspring, including Love Island's Gemma Owen. However, having been in the showbiz industry for more than 40 years, Pete, 50, said the prestigious gig could be 'cause for concern'.
As to whether he has any doubts over Princess entering the modelling world, he said: “I’ll always have concerns because I’ve seen the good and the bad, but I think as long as you’ve been brought up [well] – hopefully you will take from that.”

Princess with her boyfriend (Instagram/officialprincess_andre)Despite being signed to the brand, Pete was adamant Princess' modelling didn't interfere with her school work, telling Closer magazine: "With Pretty Little Thing – the deal she’s got with them – is that once every couple of months or whatever, she’ll post a picture of herself in an outfit that she likes, it’s that simple. There’s no photo shoots or taking days off school. If it’s simple and it doesn’t interfere with school, then it’s fine. Any of the bigger contract stuff will be after she turns 16."
As well as turning 16 this year, Princess announced another milestone - dating her first boyfriend. The teenager, whose mum is Katie Price, revealed she was in a relationship earlier this year and wasted no time in featuring her beau on her YouTube channel.

Pete admitted the news was difficult to cope with, telling Woman magazine: “I’m not happy about this at all. I’m struggling beyond belief, but that’s life. We’ve had many chats. I have very strict rules in my house. I had this rule that would never have a boyfriend until she was 38, and now she’s 16 and she’s talking about boys!”
Despite his reservation, the singer conceded he shouldn't be treating his daughter differently from his son, Junior, 18, who he also shares with Katie. Revealing his viewpoint had changed after speaking to his wife, Dr Emily, he said: “But Emily really made me realise that I can’t treat her differently to how I treated Junior at that age."
Aussie Pete is undoubtedly a proud dad, who tried to teach Princess and Junior to 'treat their partners with respect'. Speaking to the Mirror, he said: “By the time they got to 12, I was sitting them down and saying ‘it doesn’t matter who you love as long as you are respectful and as long as you genuinely care for them’. And then Junior would throw something at me like ‘were you always respectful to your girlfriends?’ I would have to say to him ‘no, I wasn’t always, I was an idiot and my job is to teach you not to be that idiot!’”
