Heartwarming moment woman reunited with biological mum after years apart
This is the heartwarming moment a woman reunited with her biological mother for a holiday after seven years apart.
Jennifer Bergmann, 30, was put up for adoption at birth and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, US with her adoptive parents, Kelly Day, 63, and Mike Day, 65, who also adopted three other children after Jenny - Josh, Nicole, and Nick.
From day one, Jenny knew that she was adopted and would often ask Kelly and Mike about her birth mother - to which, they would respond by showing Jenny pictures of her mother and a letter she had written.
Jenny, who now lives in Hamburg, Germany, got in contact with her biological mother, Joanne Wojdula, 52, for the first time when she was 20 years old, after finding her Facebook profile years earlier.
Then, in 2015, Joanne flew from her home in Knoxville, Tennessee, US to attend Jenny’s wedding in Germany to her husband, Florian Bergmann, 32, and this was the first time that the pair met.

As can be seen in the recently shared video, Joanne and Jenny could not stop smiling on their trip away.
Jenny said: "It was like two puzzle pieces fitting right together. The way that we bonded - it was just immediate. We were laughing and joking together.
"There's videos where we're moving the same way. We have the same smile, and we find the same things funny.

Jenny plans to visit her adoptive family over in Michigan, US, in October of this year, and Joanne and her family are set to join them.
Jenny said: "My adoptive mom was actually the one to invite my biological mom and my siblings to come and visit when I go see my adoptive parents in October.
"It is tough. I think for me, at least, it feels like being in between two worlds where I don't quite fit in with my adoptive parents, but I also don't quite fit in with my biological family.
