Dad of banker who vanished on night out shares possible cause of death
A young man whose body was found in a creek three days after he went missing might have died of a peanut allergy, his family suspects.
John Castic, 27, was last seen leaving the club Brooklyn Mirage in Brooklyn, New York late on Saturday night and his friends said he planned to take an Uber home because he was not feeling well.
On Tuesday, three days later, a man noticed his body floating in a creek not more than half a mile away from where he was last seen. His body was recovered bloated and shirtless, and his family asserted that he might have suffered an allergic reaction. They said all his belongings were found on him, so he wasn't the victim of a robbery.

There is no indication of foul play."
The cause of John Castic's death hasn't been determined yet, and his family is still waiting for the medical examiner's report. The body was pulled from the waters of Newtown Creek - a waterway around a half mile from the Brooklyn Mirage. The section of the creek where the grim find was made is called English Kills.

It remains uncertain whether he indeed called for an Uber or opted for a different route. John was reported missing Sunday, according to the NYPD. Authorities also said the body showed no signs of violence or contusions, though the autopsy report is pending.
