Piers Morgan is taking a break from his TalkTV show but he couldn't resist tuning in to hit out at those stepping in for him after they shared a unrecognisable picture of him as a child.

The presenters were looking a series of celebrities' snaps from when they were children and attempting to guess the identities of those in the adorable pictures. A snap of Piers popped up on screen but, the panellists had no idea they were looking at the host of Piers Morgan Uncensored.

One of the panellists questioned whether the adorable tot was a "girl of a boy" while another incorrectly guessed the picture belonged to the stand-in host. "That's absolutely priceless," one panellist quipped when Piers' identity was revealed.

Piers took to Twitter to share the clip alongside a host of furious emojis and wrote: "'Is it a girl?'" Fans of the TV host found the moment hilarious as one tweeted: "I saw that last night- very funny, particularly as you often say ‘what is a woman’! Lovely photo BTW!"

"Thanks for making me laugh - still chuckling now...," another wrote and a third joked: "Adorable Where did it all go wrong?" Someone else added: "Hilarious! But I guessed it was you straight away."

Meanwhile, Piers recently shared a rare photo of his youngest son, Bertie, as he celebrated the 22-year-old's graduation from university. He shared a sweet picture grinning with his arm around his son, who posed in a traditional graduation robe with the tasselled cap and black sunglasses.

"Congrats to my youngest son @Bertie_Morgan11 on gaining a 1st class degree from Bristol University in Politics & International Relations," he captioned the snap. Piers also praised his high-performing son, whom he shares with ex-wife Marion Shalloe, as a "great lad" who had "worked incredibly hard" for his "great achievement." Bertie attended Bristol University after achieving an impressive three A*s in his A-level exams. At the time, Piers tweeted: "The apple fell in a different orchard to your old man (I only got ABC). Proud of you son, due reward for tremendous work ethic."
