Chilling moment raging shark seen feeding metres from swimmers at popular beach
Petrified beachgoers swam for their lives after they accidently interrupted a shark in the middle of its feeding frenzy at a famous beach in Australia.
Terrifying drone footage shows the moment the swimmers realised the predator was lurking underneath them at Bondi Beach in Sydney, as they headed towards a huge school of salmon. In the video shared by the DroneSharkApp, the pair swam past the fish before the beast emerged from underneath them on Saturday.
The woman then froze out of shock before she darted towards her male companion to hold his hand. They continued to hold on tight to each other as they swam away.

During the frightening clip, the operator narrated the horrifying scenes and pretended to be the woman. "I don't know about this … wait for me," he said. "Wait for me, there's sharks in these … Oh here he comes!", you can hear them saying.
In the same footage, a paddleboarder was relaxing in the sea before realising that Norm was right by him, reports Daily Mail. The video goes on to show a paddleboard rider unaware that Norm is right underneath him.

In response, one person wrote: "This angers me at the lack of common sense to those humans. If there had been an attack the sharks would have been again to blame. They are only doing what they do in their environment. We should respect that and stay out of water until bait ball and sharks had moved on and they are lucky they were not great whites instead of the Labrador of the seas."

"Bless the couple swimming and eventually hold hands," someone commented. “If we’re going honey…. We be going together. Also….. is it just me thinking that swimming WITH a bunch of bait fish."
Last month, similar scenes descended in Spain after two sharks were spotted just metres away from a group of beachgoers. The holidaymakers didn't realise that the predators were cruising around them, off the coast of Portbou, Catalonia.
Some swimmers managed to make it to sure in time, while others rushed towards a swim platform and stayed there until they could be rescued by kayakers. Luckily, no one was injured during the incident.
