Madonna has admitted she saw a side of her children she's never seen before when she was going through her terrifying health scare. The music legend was rushed to hospital last month and ended up in intensive care due to a severe bacterial infection.
She's now spoken out about the difficult time, claiming her family were the "best medicine" and praising her children for the support they gave her. She said they "really showed up" for her during her time of need, and said she saw a side of them she'd never seen before.
She took to Instagram to post a number of photos alongside a moving caption. She wrote: "Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect. As a Mother you can really get caught up in the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving……….. But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference."

Madge then revealed a present she had received during her period of ill health, saying: "If you zoom into this Picture I am holding You will see A Polaroid taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson’s face painted on it. A perfect triangle of Brilliance. I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how fortunate I am to have known these people and so many others who are also gone."
The hospitalisation meant she had to postpone her eagerly awaited world tour which was due to celebrate her 40 years in the industry.

It has since been revealed that the star intends to get the worldwide tour underway in October, rescheduling any shows she has had to miss due to her condition.
