Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundaries
Earlier this year Tommy admitted he had been planning to pop the question. He confessed: "I’ve had it in the ear for the past two years, I think. My actual plan was to do a lot sooner but obviously, being a boxer, when you’re in a training camp you’ve got to completely shut yourself off, you want to just focus on the fight, so I can’t be going in and everywhere proposing."
After the stunning proposal, Molly took to her social media to give her fans more of an insight. She explained that Tommy pulled off his surprise by convincing her she was on her way to an influencer event with a made up brand. Sharing a black and white photo of her and Tommy holding hands, she wrote: “Just before we were leaving for a ‘brand event’ we’d both been invited to… fake invites, fake emails, notes in the hotel room from the brand, everyone playing along so unbelievably well…”
Molly-Mae gushed: “I’ve never known a surprise to be pulled off like this. I was COMPLETELY and utterly fooled.” The Love Island star says she only realised something was amis once they got to the romantic proposal location. She wrote: “It was only when we pulled up to the ‘event’ and Tommy jumped out of the car and ran off and I was handed a letter that I realised all was not what it seemed.”
