Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's post-royal lives have been criticised by reality star Bethenny Frankel.

The TV personality, 52, has hit out at the pair and how they've gone about their business since their stateside move. Bethenny, who is best known for her appearance on Real Housewives of New York City, took to social media to let her feelings be known.

Sharing a video on TikTok, she explained her thoughts on the online criticism the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020. She questioned: "How could someone botch something so badly?"

Despite her harsh words, Bethenny did admit she felt sorry for duo and claimed some royals see their lives as "fascinating". She continued: "I almost feel badly, like I think I do feel badly, because I can’t imagine having so much at your fingertips and letting it all slip away because of living inside your own head.

"And thinking every single thing that you do and say and want is so fascinating that you should be accepting awards at podiums around the world. Why?"

She went on to say "god forbid" the couple should split as she implied they now only have each other. Bethenny went on: "I just, I can’t imagine going from hero to zero like that. Having money, having opportunities."

Bethenny's strong opinions, which divided her followers, are far from the first time she's hit out at the couple as rumours of a Meghan and Harry split continued to swirl. But despite the speculation, the pair continue to put on a strong united front - even if their body language seemingly indicates a change in their relationship.

Body language expert Darren Stanton claimed Meghan is now happy for her husband to take centre stage - a big change from the early days.

He said: "In the early days of Meghan Markle joining the Royal Family, there was a lot of speculation in terms of how she was going to convey herself and fit into life as a senior royal.

"Right from the outset, Meghan was a very strong and confident person. Perhaps, this was due to her tenacious nature and the motivation she has had to have become a star in her own right in the world of acting - a career that takes a lot of determination and passion, traits she has shown to have intrinsically.

"It's clear from Meghan’s body language that she loves Harry very much. She very much plays the role of his biggest supporter in their relationship, with Meghan on hand to boost Harry's confidence in situations where he isn't feeling as self-assured."
