Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been locked in a bitter, ongoing divorce battle since Jolie first filed for divorce in 2016.

However, it appears that tensions may finally be thawing between the pair, as the MailOnline has reported that the duo have agreed to mediation.

Brad and Angelina have been locked in a legal battle over the French vineyard they previously both owned, Chateau Miraval.

The couple bought the vineyard in 2008, but in February 2022, Angelina sold her half of the property to a Russian oligarch, which annoyed the Bullet Train actor.

Brad previously criticised her decision to sell her half, saying he was forcing her to partner up with "a stranger with poisonous associations and intentions".

After Angelina sold her half, her ex-husband sued her. His lawsuit claims that Angelina "sought to inflict harm" on Brad and likened the sale to a "hostile takeover".

In response, a few weeks ago, a 98-page legal filing accused Brad of being a 'bully' and acting irrationally about their vineyard dispute, but now the couple is reportedly agreeing to mediation instead of the dispute going to court. Angelina has added that she's willing to take part in a settlement conference.

The vineyard sits on 1,300 acres. The couple reportedly paid approximately $21.5million (£17million) for the estate, but it's now valued at over $164million (£128million). It has an entire pine forest, a lake, a moat, and a Romanesque chapel where Brad and Angelina got married in 2014.

The main house has 35 rooms, including a gym, a home cinema, a spa, two pools, and a helicopter pad.

Angelina sold her half of the shares of the vineyard to Stoli Group, a Luxembourg-based spirits company. The company is owned by Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.

In 2013, Angelina and Brad started a wine-making business there with the Perrin family, the leading producers of organic wine from the Southern Rhone Valley.

Angelina reportedly had a row with Brad on a private plane in 2016 which led to the end of their marriage, after tying the knot in 2014. The couple met when they were filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005 and have six kids together, three of whom are adopted.
