More details about the Diablo 4 1.1.1 patch are set to be revealed as part of another Activision Blizzard livestream tomorrow night.

Say what you will about the way Activision Blizzard has handled the recent update 1.1.0a debacle (in which all five character classes got debuffed), the studio certainly remains committed to keeping up communication with its passionate Diablo 4 playerbase. We know this because, in addition to last week’s campfire chat livestream that focused on Diablo 4 Season 1, the developers are set to talk to the audience via livestream yet again – this time about the incoming Diablo 4 1.1.1 patch.

News that this campfire livestream centred on update 1.1.1 was first revealed back in last week’s Season of the Malignant campfire livestream, but was reiterated earlier this week on Twitter by Diablo’s global community development director, Adam Fletcher. “Friday stream to talk about the upcoming 1.1.1 patch including Sorc/Barb changes, bug fixes, features, etc,” he teased. Up until now we didn’t know exactly when the livestream would occur, however, but this has now been confirmed in a blog post on the official Blizzard website.

If you plan on tuning in and want to know when and where you can watch this week’s Diablo 4 campfire livestream dedicated to all things update 1.1.1, we have the details you require.

Diablo 4 campfire livestream start time

It should come as no surprise to learn that, regular as clockwork, the upcoming Diablo 4 campfire livestream will take place on Friday, July 28 at 7pm BST/ 2pm EDT / 11am PDT, the same time that it always does. Presenting the stream will be Fletcher himself, alongside game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepora and lead class designer Adam Jackson. It wasn’t stated how for how long the stream will last, just that Diablo 4 update 1.1.1 will be the main topic of discussion.

How to watch the Diablo 4 campfire livestream

If you were unable to watch the stream live, you can get caught up on what was said by the team by watching the archived YouTube video below:

What to expect from the Diablo 4 live stream

While last week’s campfire chat offered some slight hints at the changes Diablo 4 update 1.1.1 will bring, the new blog post is a bit more specific about what we can expect from the one happening this Friday. In discussion will be “class balance changes, various quality of life updates, and more coming with Patch 1.1.1”, followed by a Q&A with those that are watching, as has become custom.

We recently put together a wish list of changes we’d like to see from Diablo 4’s update 1.1.1, most of which Activision Blizzard has already hinted at fixing. Sorcerer and Barbarian class buffs are almost a given, thank heavens, but the promise of “quality of life updates” should also be music to the ears of players who have grown frustrated with the lack of endgame challenge.

One thing is for certain, though, we shouldn’t expect to see the Diablo 4 1.1.1 patch notes release while the stream is happening. Responding to a fan in a separate Twitter post Fletcher stated that “we will release them on a separate date”. Following the fan outcry we know that the patch notes will be published before 1.1.1 is rolled out, yet the update itself is still without a hard release date.
