Taylor Swift issues heartfelt message to fans over achievement alongside Britney
Taylor Swift has thanked fans for their support following her latest achievement, with both herself and Britney Spears having been congratulated this week for the same milestone.
It's been announced that Taylor, 33, has scored another entry into the 'Billions Club' on Spotify, whilst Britney, 41, is now understood to have joined the club for the first time.
The streaming service announced that Taylor's song Anti-Hero has now surpassed a billion streams on the platform, with Britney's Toxic having just achieved the same feat.
The news was shared on social media with Spotify writing in a post earlier this week: "Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero is the newest member of the Billions Club. Thanks to all the fans."

It's not the first time that Taylor has achieved more than a billion streams for a song on the platform. She already had three songs that were part of the so-called Billions Club.
They included her songs Shake It Off and Blank Space, which are both from the album 1989. She also achieved the feat with I Don't Wanna Live Forever, her duet with Zayn Malik that featured on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

It's thanks to her song Toxic, which was released back in 2004 (spotify)Anti-Hero marks her first entry from her album Midnights, which was released last year. The song topped the charts in both the US and the UK, among other countries.
Midnights, which was her tenth studio album, itself achieved a significant feat on Spotify upon release, with it having achieved the most streams for an album in a single day.
Britney released her single Toxic back in 2004. The song topped the charts in countries including the UK and earned the singer a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.
The song appeared on her fourth studio album In the Zone, released the previous year. The tracklist had also included singles like Me Against the Music, which featured Madonna.
According to its corresponding playlist, the 'Billions Club' includes 449 songs. It features songs by artists including Harry Styles, Rihanna, ABBA, Adele and The Weeknd.
