'The warm weather eye balm that's changed how I do my skincare'

I have sensitive skin, it always has been since I was a little girl. This means that I've went through a lot of trial and error to find what works for me and what really doesn't - it also means I err on the side of caution when it comes to makeup and I'm more often fresh faced than wearing foundation in my everyday life.

While I do have my makeup staples for special occasions, I'm much more focused on my skincare. I take it all quite seriously, using special tools to enhance my products and never travelling without at least a seven step routine in my carry-on.

So when I found a new product that changes the game on how to apply eye product but also doubles up as a highlighter type finish I was thrilled.

Tula have a range of 'glow + get it' eye balms and while I've always found the sound of them appealing I've found they left a white cast on my skin. But now they've come out with a 'champagne' shade that reminds me of Becca's Champagne Pop - which has always been my favourite highlighter.

It's made using probiotic extracts to maintain skin balance, caffeine to firm and brighten skin and hyaluronic acid for hydration. But there are a number of ingredients that also show up in some popular dishes such as apple and watermelon for the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles or rosewater and blueberry for hydrating and nourishing skin.

Honestly? I really liked it. It has a cooling sensation as soon as you put it on which is amazing in warmer weather but also pretty good when I've had an outburst of hay fever or watched a movie that's made me cry.

I really like the shade, I've tried the other options in the selection and they just didn't suit me at all leaving a white mark on my undereye. The champagne shade blends right in which I think is great for anyone who like me has a gold undertone to their complexion.

You can buy the brand new gold glow + get it for £29 and use code MIRROR20 for an extra 20% off your purchase.
