Just because Diablo 4 is played from a top-down perspective doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a breeze to run on your PC setup. Here’s how powerful yours needs to be.
Diablo 4 (for the most part) continues to go from strength to strength, having recently celebrated the launch of its first season, Season of the Malignant, which continues the hellish, horde-slaying fun far beyond the events of the main campaign. If you’re a PC player who’s yet to experience Activision Blizzard’s latest, however, you probably want to know whether or not you can run it.
To save you unnecessarily tinkering with graphics settings, there’s four options to take note of regardless of whether you intend to play on a PC or gaming laptop. These low, mid and high Diablo 4 system requirements were outlined in a post on the official Activision Blizzard support site prior to launch, but to save you trouble we’ve gathered all the necessary information here. With these details to hand, you can have the confidence to fight Lilith as smoothly as possible.
Diablo 4 system requirements – minimum
If you’re a PC player who’s operating on a budget and what to know whether your entry level setup can run Diablo 4, here’s the absolute minimum Diablo 4 system requirements to bear in mind:
- OS: 64-bit Windows® 10 version 1909 or newer
- Processor: Intel® Core i5-2500K or AMD™ FX-8350
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 or AMD Radeon™ R9 280
- DirectX®: Version 12
- Storage: SSD with 90 GB available space
- Internet: Broadband Connection

Lucky enough to have a PC or gaming laptop that’s slightly above average but less than a top-of-the-line setup? Here’s the Diablo 4 system requirements Activision itself recommends:

- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 970 or AMD Radeon™ RX 470

* 1080p resolution, medium graphics settings, 60fps
Diablo 4 system requirements – high
Diablo 4 is sure to play as smooth as butter if you’re someone who’s invested in an incredibly powerful PC gaming setup. Here’s what Activision Blizzard says will run the game without any hassle or struggle:

- Processor: Intel® Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen™ 2700X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce® RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon™ RX 5700 XT

- Storage: SSD with 90 GB available space
- Internet: Broadband Connection

Diablo 4 system requirements – 4K
Finally, if you want to leap beyond the realm of 1080p and feel brave enough to attempt running Diablo 4 at 4K fidelity, we have that information to hand too. Here’s what Diablo 4 system requirements are recommended for 4K visuals:
