Manchester United are planning to do more business before the end of the transfer window as Erik ten Hag tries to get his squad ready for the new Premier League season.

United, who have already signed Mason Mount and Andre Onana, start their top-flight campaign in three weeks' time when they face Wolves at Old Trafford. And Ten Hag is eager to get more transfers done ahead of the game, with a striker at the top of their priority list.

Rasmus Hojlund is the man United are after, with the forward being heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils after Wout Weghorst returned to Burnley and Cristiano Ronaldo departed in January. With that all in mind, here are the latest rumours coming out of Old Trafford.

Amad provides injury update

Amad has hinted his injury is not as bad as first feared after he was seen leaving the MetLife Stadium on crutches following United's pre-season win over Arsenal.

The winger was substituted off just 13 minutes after coming on after suffering an injury during the game, which United won 2-0. The Ivorian also went down under no contact, providing more concern for the Red Devils faithful.

However, he has posted a positive update to fans on social media. "I feared the worst. Alhamdoulilah it's nothing serious! I will be back soon," he said.

Amad, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, has been linked with a move away, with Leicester, Burnley, Everton and Leeds all touted as potential destinations.

Bailly eyed by Al-Nassr

Eric Bailly could be on his way out of United with Al-Nassr eyeing up his services this summer.

The Ivorian is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and the Saudi Pro League side are plotting a move for the centre-back, according to Sky Sports. Another Saudi Arabian club are also interested in Bailly, who is said to be available for around £20million.

If Bailly decides to chose Al-Nassr, he would follow former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to the club, while Alex Telles has also made the move after leaving the Red Devils on Sunday.

United handed Hojlund boost

United have been told that Atalanta may have to "consider" selling star striker Rasmus Hojlund as the Red Devils chase a swoop.

The Danish striker has been identified as United's prime target when it comes to bolstering their attacking options. Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani have also all been linked throughout the duration of the transfer window but the trio are deemed too expensive.

Whilst Atalanta boss Gian Pieri Gasperini has reaffirmed that his side would only consider selling should they receive a considerable bid, he has hinted that both the club and Hojlund have decisions to make.

When asked about a potential move, he replied: "Hojlund and Man United? Sometimes there are choices to make and also agents…

"We all have to consider the financial factor. He’s very happy here, I’d love to keep Rasmus of course but sometimes clubs and also players have to consider huge bids."
