Former Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are engaged!

The lovebirds, who met on the 2019 series of the ITV2 show, shared the happy news with their fans on social media after months of speculation about when the boxer would pop the question.

Breaking the news on Instagram this evening, lovebirds Molly-Mae and Tommy shared a tear-jerking video of the boxer's romantic proposal while the couple are on holiday in Ibiza with their daughter Bambi.

The sweet video sees Tommy down on one knee while dressed in a suave black suit before Molly walks out in a white jumpsuit to see her man down on one knee to pop the all-important question.

Fans of the happy couple have been waiting for Tommy to propose to the mother of his first child ever since Molly-Mae announced she was pregnant in September 2022.

Following the birth of their daughter Bambi in January this year, many have been wondering just when Tyson Fury's little brother would pop the question and ask Molly-Mae to be his wife.

"I’ve had it in the ear for the past two years, I think," Tommy admitted in May.

"My actual plan was to do a lot sooner but obviously, being a boxer, when you’re in a training camp you’ve got to completely shut yourself off, you want to just focus on the fight, so I can’t be going in and everywhere proposing."

Speaking on Loose Women, the boxer added: "I’m going to do it soon guys, honestly, I really am."

Since meeting in the iconic Spanish villa four years ago, Molly, 24, and Tommy, 24, have gone on to become one of the most successful Love Island couples of all time.

After hitting it off early on in the series - following Molly-Mae arriving as a bombshell - the loved-up pair made things official before the show even ended.

Boxer Tommy pulled out all the stops to ask the Instagram influencer to be his girlfriend during their time together in the villa - with the sweet public display of affection seeing them become favourites take home the £50,000 prize fund.

Placing a note inside her treasured stuffed animal Ellie Bellie, he then made a speech to Molly on the balcony: "On a serious note, you know how much you mean to me and you’re the only girl for me.

"I only want to be with you. Therefore, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"

Despite failing to win their series back in 2019 - coming second to Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea - the newly-engaged pair have undoubtedly eclipsed the majority of their Love Island peers in terms of success and relationship longevity.

Soon after landing back on British soil, the two Love Island stars quickly moved in together - setting up home in Molly's Manchester apartment in September 2019.

As their relationship went from strength to strength, rumours of a quick engagement began to circulate - with the pair confirming it was on the cards in the future.

In early 2020, Molly uploaded a video to her YouTube channel where she and her boxer beau hinted at having children together one day.

"We both definitely want children, yes, but obviously we're both only 20 years old," the PrettyLittleThing CEO confessed to her loyal subscribers.

Tommy chipped in with: "We've been trying to make children most nights."

"I want kids by the time I'm 22, simple as that. She wants six kids, I want eight," he added.

Molly-Mae was 23 when she announced she was expecting her first child in September 2022, with friends, fans and celebrity pals rushing to congratulate the PrettyLittleThing Creative Director and the boxer on their joyous news as they shared the news online.

The couple both shared the news on their respective Instagram pages, with a video of Molly-Mae saying "I can’t wait for the adventures that we haven’t even dreamed of yet" from her finale speech during their time on the reality show that first introduced them to each other.

The video then panned to the happy couple holding Molly-Mae’s baby bump and embracing one another. The couple's celebrity pals were quick to congratulate the pair, with fellow Love Island star Georgia Steel commenting: "Wow sooooo beautiful."

In October 2021, Molly admitted that she felt she was ready to walk down the aisle and dropped a not-so-subtle hint for Tommy to get ring shopping.

"I’d like a ring soon, please … at some point. I am still the perfect girlfriend, me and Tommy that’s like a whole other thing, we hardly knew each other back then," the blonde beauty declared on the Behind Closed Doors podcast.

"We were just getting started and now we’ve been together two and a bit years and it's been the best two and a bit years of my life with everything with my work, with my relationship. I’m just so lucky."

It seems Tommy was listening, going on to pop the question less than two years later with a lavish proposal.
