Love Island star Abigail Rawlings has shared her predictions on who she thinks will win the summer 2023 series.

The former Islander, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show back in 2021, has had her say on the current contestants, revealing who she thinks will make the final and who she can't believe is still in the villa.

Abi thinks that fan favourite Whitney Adebayo will win Love Island and has said that she needs her own TV show as soon as possible.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, the talented tattoo artist said: "I feel like Whitney will probably win but she's completely carrying Lochan [Nowacki] because everyone just adores Whitney.

"Lochan seems like the loveliest guy, don't get me wrong, but I do feel like if they win it's because everyone is just in love with Whitney. Whitney needs her own show, ASAP, I would watch it!"

Abi also thinks that Jess Harding and Sammy Root, who have had a tumultuous time in the villa so far, could be potential winners too.

She said: "I love Sammy and Jess, maybe I want them to win? Either Whitney, or Sammy and Jess, those are the predictions."

However, one couple she doesn't think will be taking home the £50,000 prize money is Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas.

Abi, who is working with Blue Cross to keep pets safe this summer, predicted: "I feel like Ella and Ty will obviously make it to the final, but those two love a good argument, so I don't feel like the public are going to want them to win, I feel like they'll probably come second."

Elsewhere during the chat, Abi spoke about the recent brutal quadruple dumping, where Kady McDermott, Ouzy See, Amber Wise and Josh Brocklebank were sent packing.

Abi insisted that Kady, 27, didn't deserve to go and that she is shocked that Mitchel Taylor is still in the villa after his disastrous dating history thus far on the show.

She said: "Kady and Ouzy should have stayed. Mitch, oh my gosh, that guy is like a cat - he's got nine lives! I don't understand how he is still in Love Island.

"The way that guy has acted in the villa from day one and been caught out, non stop, for being snakey or saying stuff to other people. I just don't understand how that guy's still there!"

Since appearing on Love Island, Abi has developed the ultimate girl gang with her former Islanders and she regularly sees Sharon Gaffka, Faye Winter, Kaz Kamwi and Liberty Poole.

Talking about their friendship, she said: "They're so lush! It's so crazy how much we all love each other so intensely. It's the thing that I'm the most grateful for from the whole show. I love them."
