Good Morning Britain and Tipping Point Ben Shephard paid a heartfelt and loving tribute to his rarely-seen wife of 19-years on social media.
The 48-year-old TV presenter praised his beautiful wife Annie Perks over on his Instagram page, as he congratulated her on being awarded a prize for her recent gardening designs.
The happy couple – who share two children together, sons Jack and Sam – tied the knot in 2004 after their first meeting at the University of Birmingham, where they were both students.
While Ben's career is in television, Annie's passion for gardening has seen her work for big name fashion and interior magazines, including House and Garden, Glamour, Elle Deco, Elle and Red – but she now runs the blog The House Editor.
Ben's wife won a prize for her career and Ben was quick to praise his wife in a sweet tribute as he posted a rare snap of the pair of them together.

Praising his wife on Instagram, Ben wrote: "#Proud husband post! Thanks to @gingerhorticulture for capturing this moment @annieshepharddesign being announced as the recipient of the Judges Prize from @londoncollegegardendesign thanks to @jothompsongarden She has worked so hard over the last year, I couldn’t be more proud of her and excited for what comes next.

It’s been great to see her so inspired and motivated, not gonna lie the boys are delighted that they won’t have to rely on their old man for food, drinks and general logistics now mum has graduated- everyone is relieved about that!! Other than Deliveroo who’s profits will now slump significantly!!"
Pals of the star, including his Good Morning Britain co-host Kate Garraway, congratulated Annie on her glowing achievement. Kate wrote: "Amazing!!! Congratulations @annieshepharddesign!! So deserved - we always knew you were the clever one of the pair!!!"
One person commented saying: "Just so delighted for Annie! Incredible achievement – I've only had a teeny tiny glimpse into what she’s done but what a woman!!!" A third person added: "Congratulations Annie! What a glorious photo."
Last year, Ben opened up about his marriage to Annie – admitting that he is "lucky" to have a supportive wife by his side.
Speaking on Kate Thornton's podcast White Wine Question Time, he said: "She has been through all this with me – the highs and the lows of all that experience. And she is still here, somehow is still putting up with me which to this day, I can't quite believe that I am extraordinarily lucky."
