EastEnders Christmas clues - Cufflinks owner, Sharon's groom and victim 'sealed'
EastEnders has aired plenty of drama and possible clues since a shocking twist aired in February. A flashforward clip confirmed a Christmas Day murder will take place later this year at The Queen Vic.
The identity of the male murdered remains unknown, and so does the identity of the killer. What is known is that six suspects are in the frame, including Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Stacey Slater, Denise Fox, Sharon Watts and Linda Carter.
A number of clues in the flashforward clip teased a surprise wedding, a knight figure and a particular set of cufflinks, not to mention a possible murder weapon and hints at what goes down.
Since then, a whole load of new clues, motives and possible victims have been revealed in episodes. We take a look at the latest clues and what they might mean ahead of the Christmas death...
EastEnders has aired plenty of drama and possible clues (BBC)Cufflinks owner exposed
Viewers knew back in February that the mystery dead character was wearing a suit with some distinctive print cufflinks on the sleeves.
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likeness
The time finally came this month to find out who they belonged to, but there was a twist. Nish Panesar was revealed as the original owner of the specific cufflinks.
But he lost them to Rocky in a game of poker, while they ended up in the possession of Jack Branning. But will they be passed on again? Does the mystery suit wearer borrow them, or does Nish have a spare set?
Knight in shining armour explained
The knight in shining armour figure was in the background (BBC)It was recently explained that the random knight in shining armour figure in the background of the flashforward clip had relevance.
George Knight and his two daughters soon made their debut and moved into The Queen Vic with George's partner Elaine and her daughter Linda. The statue actually belonged to George, and he apparently takes it to all of his bars.
So the Knight was real but was also a clue about the new family, who are linked to the scene of the crime, as well as returning character Cindy Beale. But is there still more to this figure, given it is stood behind Stacey Slater in the Christmas scene?
Sharon wedding twist
The wedding dress reappeared (BBC)Viewers were baffled to learn Sharon Watts was likely getting married again, as she featured in the Christmas episode in a wedding dress. The Vic is also decorated for a wedding reception - but is it for her, or is it for love rival Kat Slater who is set to wed Phil Mitchell on this day?
The wedding dress in the scene soon made an appearance, but fans were shocked to find out Kathy Beale had bought it for her own wedding. She didn't wear it though, and a recent scene saw it hanging up in Kathy's house - so how does Sharon get her hands on it, and does this tease a spontaneous wedding for her?
That said, she is currently engaged to Keanu Taylor with no wedding date set - so will it be their wedding day and is he her groom?
Characters team up
We are already seeing some of The Six starting to bond and team up (BBC1)We are already seeing some of The Six starting to bond and team up, ahead of the big moment later this year. Kathy is friendly with several of the ladies, always offering them advice.
But recent scenes saw Kathy and Suki Panesar chatting, ahead of new scenes that will show them teaming up against her husband Nish Panesar. Given there's an unexplained moment in the flashforward where Kathy looks at Suki in a concerned manner, some fans believe it could all be linked to their new friendship.

Death hints
There have been some new victims and motives teased (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)Some of the dialogue in episodes recently has left fans convinced there are some foreshadowings at play. Comments about bodies and wedding gatecrashers, not to mention Kat's recent comment about "no one killing each other yet", have left fans believing there are clues everywhere about the possible victims.
With this there have been some new victims and motives teased since the clip initially aired. Stacey's stalker Theo is tipped to die, while Nish remains a firm favourite to be killed off.
His sons Ravi and Vinny are both teased to die too, while Jack Branning, Phil Mitchell, Ian Beale, Rocky and Keanu Taylor, as well as George Knight, are all names thrown into the mix.
All of these men have made discoveries or are about to, or have been caught up in drama which could lead to big scenes. Could one of them be exposed and turn violent, leading to a showdown?
The Six become seven?
Fans recently believed there was a mystery seventh character, eight including the body, in the flashforward scene. Following the arrival of Elaine and her now living in and owning the pub, not to mention her red nails in a clue-filled episode, fans think she could be part of the twist.
Cindy is also tipped to be the seventh lady involved now that we know she is alive and returning. Other theories included George or Nish being the killer, protecting the ladies from an attack.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
