A Neighbours actress has admitted she is living in a "shipping container" despite once appearing in the cherished Aussie show.
Emma Harrison, now 49-years-old, made her anticipated soap debut back in 1995, where she landed a role as Annalise Hartman's long lost sister Joanna.
Three years later, producers told the actress that her character would be written off. This paved a way for Emma to embark upon a modeling career, posing on the cover of lads' magazines including Playboy, Loaded, Maxim, and FHM.
Emma then made a brief return to the soap in 2005 – before bidding farewell to Ramsay Street for good later in the same year.
Emma appeared on Aussie TV to tell of her new lifestyle (Channel 7)Nearly two decades on, Emma lives a different lifestyle to the showbiz-oriented one she lead before and currently lives in a converted shipping container. Despite what some may consider an unusual living arrangement, Emma bursted with pride as she opened up about her sustainable home.

The former actress made an appearance on Australia's The Morning Show and said: "I have two shipping containers. They are 2.4 meters in width, six meters in length and 2.6 meters high, so they're high cube shipping containers, they're pretty spacious.
"They're separated by a balcony, which is in the middle, so the whole space is about 50 meters square. It's really fun."
Speaking on her home further, she added: "Well, there's a lot of focus on sustainability these days, and I feel like, you know, everybody's got to do their bit because our little bit is part of a much larger bit.
"You know, sort of being more minimalistic and not over-consuming was a conscious choice. So it makes us feel so happy that yeah we're just decreasing our footprint on the planet."
However, the actress has come a long way since the height of her career, swapping the fame for a lowkey life away from the spotlight with her partner Cade and children.
She now lives in a converted shipping container (Channel 7)"Those were really fun, exciting days... but at this stage in my life, family and being a mum are more important to me" she recalled.
"I did have a fun time overseas and I don't have any regrets by any means, but everything happens for a reason and that reason ended."
Once asked if she would ever show her modelling pictures to her kids, Emma responded saying: "Oh, it's all hidden away and locked in the cupboards. I probably won't ever show her to be honest. I don't display them, let's just say that."
