Love Island's Whitney tells Ella they're 'not friends' in furious second clash
The Love Island villa is set to be rocked by a second clash on Friday night as Whitney Adebayo and Ella Thomas' fiery row continues.
In the latest episode, the two Islanders get into another heated exchange which leaves Whitney telling Ella they are "not friends". It comes after Thursday night saw Whitney, 25, brand Ella, 23, the most "selfish" person she's ever met.
They have since kept their distance from each other following the disagreement. However, the girls are soon put to the test as Zach receives a text which reads: “Ella and Whitney. It’s time for you to head out for a one-to-one, please get ready to leave the Villa. #NothingLeftUnsaid #ItsGivingHarmony.”
The pair get ready and head out of the Villa to talk through their issues. Ella says: “I feel like yesterday when I came to talk to you I was a bit hurt. I just wanted to explain that to you and for us to resolve it. But I felt like there were more things coming out from your side.”
Whitney and Ella are sent for a one-to-one (ITV)Whitney replies: “If I could sit here and tell you that you’re not selfish, I would.” Ella adds: “Let's be real, this is all because of the challenge.”

Whitney says: “This is why I say we’re not friends because if you think I’m the kind of girl that is going to use a challenge to talk to you to direct, wrong girl. If I’ve got something to say, I will tell you - I don’t need a challenge to sugarcoat things like yourself.”
Whitney later adds: “If I didn’t think it was true, I would take it back but Ella you are the most selfish person I’ve ever met in my life, it's true.”
Can the girls resolve their differences? On Thursday's show Ella was getting into the shower when Whitney walked into the bathroom and said: "Ella, are you being serious? I’ve been waiting."
And things went from bad to worse when the duo sat in the dressing room as they discussed the revelations from the Couple Goals challenge. To which Ella said to Whitney, who is coupled up with Lochan Nowacki: "Why are you so salty about this challenge?"
Whitney responded: "Ella, I have never met a selfish person like you." Taken aback, Ella, who is coupled up with Tyrique Hyde, said: "That is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard!"
To which Whitney added: "You know I only tell the truth." Firing back at her co-star, Ella said: "Whitney, you actually think you are family the way you speak to me and it’s not ok."
Later in the show, Ella pulled Whitney for a chat as she was upset by what had happened. "It really upset me because I wouldn’t speak to my friend like that. I feel like that was coming for my character," she explained.
Whitney replied: "I wasn’t joking Ella. Sometimes you do have selfish tendencies." The Couple Goals challenge saw the Islanders reveal what they really think of each other as they were asked a series of questions such as who is the most argumentative, who is the most one-sided and which couple is the "most smug".
