Diablo 4's recent patch has been controversial among the community due to some of the changes, particularly the class nerfs. In response, Diablo 4's development team are streaming a Campfire Chat to address player feedback.

Diablo 4 Season 1 is upon us, but the update 1.1.0a patch notes haven't gone down too well, with players lamenting how their favourite class was gutted. Player complaints were so widespread that Blizzard has announced a livestream for later this week to address these changes. Diablo 4 Season 1 will have started by the time the stream is live, so hopefully this stream will cover some of the exciting things coming as a part of the Season of the Malignant.

It's worth noting that the team only plans to 'address the feedback' so while there's a chance that your favourite class could see a buff announced during this stream, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Diablo 4 Campfire livestream start time

Blizzard has confirmed on the Diablo website that Diablo 4's Campfire Chat for Season of the Malignant is set to take place on Friday, July 21 at 7pm BST/ 2pm EDT / 11am PDT. However, Blizzard hasn't confirmed how long this stream will last. The last Campfire Chat back in June lasted around an hour and 15 minutes, so it's probably best to expect a similar length for this edition.

How to watch the Diablo 4 Campfire livestream

Diablo 4's Campfire chat will be available to watch on the official Diablo 4 YouTube and Twitch channels. Links to these can be found right here:

If you missed the stream but still want to know what was discussed, you can watch it on the official Diablo YouTube channel as an archived video below:

What to expect from the Diablo 4 livestream

This stream will be hosted by Diablo 4 game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher. The purpose of the stream is to address feedback from the community over the update 1.1.0 patch notes. Players were upset with the patch as almost every character has received a nerf – with the Barbarian and Sorcerer hit the hardest. The stream should hopefully see the team elaborate on why they made these decisions (and hopefully announce plans to run some of them back).
