Harry and Meghan trying to 'take pressure off' with date nights amid setbacks

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been focusing on date nights and making new friends to let off some steam.

The Sussexes have been trying to fit in more date nights and are spending time with their new friends as they try to figure out a "work/life balance."

The pair are also looking into spending more time on their social and love life in order to "take the pressure off" following several setbacks to their joint and solo ventures.

"They want to enjoy more date nights, just the two of them, and try to figure out more of a work/life balance, as well as building up their social circle in Santa Barbara.

"It's more important than it's ever been to pace themselves and try to take the pressure off in any way they can," the source told Closer magazine. "With so much on their plates right now, they're trying to be sensible and practical and pour all of their love and attention on to each other, and the wonderful children they already feel so lucky to have."

The insight into their social life comes after false reports also claimed that their relationship was "on the rocks" and that the couple were distancing themselves from one another. A family friend has insisted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "are very much in love" and have "nothing but laughter" together.

Karl Larsen, who is a friend of Meghan's estranged father Thomas Markle, has set the record straight. Taking to his Instagram Story, the photographer shared some snaps of the loved-up couple.

Alongside the pictures, he wrote: "So nice to see my friends Harry and Meghan on Friday before they got away for the long weekend. Please do not believe the media. They are very much in love, and are happy together nothing but smiles and laughter here."

Meghan and Harry tied the knot back in 2018 at Windsor Castle, having met on a blind date two years earlier. They seem to have gone from strength to strength throughout their romance and share two children together - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
