Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson thinks the team will have all the offensive tools necessary for any situation thrown their way next season.

He believes an additional year of NFL experience for quarterback Kenny Pickett, WR George Pickens, tight end Pat Freiermuth, and running back Najee Harris will give them the necessary offensive weapons for the new season. During the offseason, the Steelers acquired Robinson and a 2023 seventh-round pick from the LA Rams in exchange for a 2023 seventh-round pick.

Robinson will receive a $3.83million signing bonus and a base salary of $1.16m in 2023 from the Steelers, while the Rams will pay $10m. During an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Allen spoke about his belief in the Steeler's offence, particularly surrounding the second-year QB Pickett, whom the team previously praised during the offseason.

"When you kind of look at some of the weapons that we have, I think that we're in a position to be a well-rounded offensive group, with a lot of young talent that isn't so young anymore," Robinson said. "Also, some vets. That's really when you see some offences start to take that next step. You have a Kenny Pickett coming into year two. You have a George Pickens coming into year two. You have Pat [Freiermuth] at the tight end spot going into year three. You have a Najee Harris. You bring myself in.

"We have a lot of guys across the board who can make plays. Especially on third down, when you look at red zone, when you look at creating explosive plays. You have guys to be able to bring some of that to the table at each and every situation." Robinson is confident despite joining a struggling offence ranked 26th in points and 23rd in yards last season. However, the players he mentioned have shown promise adjusting to the NFL's fast pace.

Pickens had an inconsistent rookie year, but managed to bring in the Steelers' most receiving scores (four), second-most yards (801), and third-most receptions (52). He showcased the ability to form a dynamic pairing with WR Diontae Johnson, one of the veterans from the other half of Robinson's proposed equation.

During the 2022 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers struggled with a 2-6 record in their first eight games. They played poorly and were on track for a losing season. However, they turned things around during the bye week and won seven out of their next nine games, almost making the playoffs.

Last season also marked the first since 2003 without former QB Ben Roethlisberger on the roster after he announced his retirement from football in 2022. The team is expected to participate in offseason workouts on July 26 to put Robinson's claims to the test.
