Gigi Hadid was arrested in the Cayman Islands for being in possession of marijuana before being released from custody.
Reports suggest that the model and a friend arrived on a private plane and custom officials are said to have found "ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja" in their luggage.
It's said she had began her trip on July 10 and was arrested at Owen Roberts International Airport.
The island's local publication, Cayman Marl Road, claims the duo were arrested on "suspicion Importation of Ganja and Importation of Utensils used for the consumption of ganja." It added they were taken to Prisoner Detention Center before being released on bail.
The outlet says the duo were charged on July 12 during a court appearance. It's said they both pleaded guilty and were fined $1,000 but reportedly won't face any charges.

It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island."
A source has since told TMZ that the drugs weren't actually found in Gigi's personal bag, but were reportedly in one of the bags of a fellow traveller. However, because the private plane was in her name, it's said all of the passengers' contents became her responsibility.
They claimed that the officials allegedly wanted a pay off by the star, but Gigi refused and instead opted for legal ramifications. This claim has since been denied by Cayman cops, who told the publication their officers "categorically deny the bribery related allegation".
The source did however continue to say Gigi does have a medical card for the possession, but it reportedly wasn't considered valid in the Cayman Islands.
The incident doesn't appear to have dampened Gigi's spirits, though, with the 28-year-old posting images from her getaway on social media.

In another snap, she is seen enjoying her time in a pool as she plays with a toy while wearing a green two-piece bikini. She captioned the upload: "What designer makes this noodle?" before asking her followers for "wrong answers only".
Among the hilarious response was "jean paul floatier", with another joking: "BUOYANCIAGA."
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Gigi shared a snap from her pal's Instagram of the trio posing in their swimwear in front of the mirror of their room.
And she shared further snippets of her getaway as she uploaded a cryptic message to her fans on the social media platform. Gigi wrote: "All's well that ends well," as she uploaded a number of snaps showing the fun side of the trip.

Gigi looked stunning as she posed in a pale green two-piece bikini set, while her wet blonde locks were swept to one side.
Other shots saw the model showcasing a number of other bikini outfits, including a multi-coloured all-in-one, which she completed with a pair of black lounge pants.
Prior to her vacation, Gigi had also been spotted spending time with former flame Gigi Hadid. In one instance, the pair were joined by the Titanic actor's parents for a meal in London.

Two of his ex love interests turned up the temperature at the Chiltern Firehouse bash in London, though, as British model Neelam Gill, 28, arrived in a copper-coloured see-through mesh dress.
A source said: “Gigi is the face of Self-Portrait’s latest campaign so it was a bit of a snub that she wasn’t there. It’s understood she found the situation too trashy and awkward."
