Coleen Nolan emotionally recalled her late mother's Alzheimer's battle on Tuesday's Loose Women, admitting that she is still "traumatised".
The presenter, 58, who opened up about her skin cancer scare on Monday, was discussing reports of a new Alzheimer's drug shown to slow the disease.
Coleen then emotionally spoke about her late mother's Alzheimer's battle, who tragically died in 2007, recalling it was the "worst time of her life".
The presenter said: "It was the worst time of my life really to watch the woman, who was so strong but so laidback and so cool, the last five years of her life turned into this person I didn't know.

'So fed up of tiresome pal flirting with my husband and always putting me down'
"She went to church every day, not just Sundays, she went to Lourdes every year as a helper. She fully believed in God and I guess we grew up like that.
"But because she passed away so cruelly, because it was cruel. It wasn't so much for my mum because she got to the stage where she didn't know us or anything.
"She just changed into this whole person you didn't know but were desperate to have one glimpse of who she used to be and remember you.
"It made me angry and then when she passed away, I just stopped believing.

Whoever you are, I don't believe you exist because of all the people you could have taken, you took someone who fully believed in everything and committed to you.' I totally lost my faith through that."
Asked by her co-hosts if she was scared about whether she could develop Alzheimer's in the future, Coleen admitted it's her "biggest fear".
She said: "It's my biggest fear, my biggest fear, unfortunately when you get to a certain age and you do get a bit forgetful, especially the menopause.
"But for me, it's panic, I panic every time. If I walk in a room and I can't remember that person's name or why I walked into the room. I get this panic of: 'Oh, it's happening, it's happening!'"
