Alison Hammond distracts This Morning viewers as she unveils 'stunning' new look
This Morning viewers rushed to compliment Alison Hammond on her "gorgeous" new hair style as she and Dermot O'Leary took over from Holly Willoughby for the summer.
Alison and Dermot have begun their summer hosting residency on This Morning and viewers spotted one of the presenters had treated themselves to a new look for the occasion.
The Great British Bake Off host had styled her dark locks in a short bob and opted for a poker straight look to host the ITV programme.
One ITV viewer tweeted: "Wow!! Doesn’t @AlisonHammond look amazing today!! That shorter hair style is gorgeous!! #thismorning," and another said: "@AlisonHammond Your new hair looks amazing. Really suits you! @thismorning #ThisMorning."

Alison distracted viewers with her new hairstyle (ITV)Alison shared a TikTok dancing with her ITV co-host Dermot ahead of Tuesday's This Morning. She captioned the video: "Unavailable!! Cos I'm with this one @dermotoleary ay 10am @thismorning."
"Looking fabulous @alisonhammond55 loving the new hair and the outfit," one wrote while another joked Dermot's moves could see him heading to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.
One fan said to Alison: "You've done Strictly, Dermot next?"
Meanwhile, Alison and Dermot took over from Holly without the usual fanfare from the regular weekday presenter.
The 42-year-old began her summer break earlier this month but she failed to mention it was time for her annual lengthly bout of leave while in previous years Holly and Phillip Schofield would often announce their departure with viewers.
After Phillip's departure in May, Holly has reportedly decided to focus on being a mum in the summer holidays. “
She appreciates her family more than ever right now… the last couple of months have been really stressful and it’s highlighted for her the importance of family,” an insider told new! magazine. “She will be thinking about the future and making sure her family is priority."
Holly, is mum to 14-year-old son Harry, 12-year-old daughter Belle, and eight-year-old son Chester.
The presenter is scheduled to return to This Morning when the school holidays come to an end in September.
