Harry Kane is only interested in a move to Bayern Munich this summer after Paris Saint-Germain made advances to sign the England international.

The 29-year-old has one year left on his contract at Tottenham and has been heavily linked with a move away before the end of the window. Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen met with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy last week as Kane's future was once again put under question.

Thomas Tuchel's side are keen to land Kane after he scored 30 Premier League goals last season. But Bayern aren't the only club interested in the forward. PSG have stepped up their interests for Kane as Luis Enrique tries to bolster their forward line following the departure of Lionel Messi.

But according to the Daily Mail, Kane does not want to join PSG and is focused on getting a move to Bayern over the line. The German side have already made two bids for the striker, but Levy is holding out for £100million despite Kane having less than 12 months remaining on his current deal.

Bayern's highest bid was reported to be in the region of £70m, which is way below what Tottenham want this summer. Manchester United and Chelsea had been touting Kane but have been put off by Spurs' asking price, with several clubs prepared to wait until he is a free agent at the end of next season.

However, Bayern are determined to get their man now with club chiefs adamant Kane wants the move. Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness spoke about their pursuit of Kane and admitted they are confident of signing Tottenham's all-time leading scorer.

Hoeness told Sport1: "Harry Kane has clearly signalled in all conversations that his decision stands - and if he keeps to his word, then we'll get him, because then Tottenham will have to buckle. Kane wants to play internationally and luckily for us Tottenham will not be active internationally next year."

For their part, Tottenham will continue to try and persuade Kane to sign a lucrative contract extension, but fear he could run down his current deal. Kane has travelled with Spurs for their pre-season tour in Australia and was named in the starting XI for the friendly against West Ham on Tuesday.

He hasn't ruled out staying at Spurs next season following the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as the club's new manager. The Aussie, who joined from Celtic, was asked about Kane's future on Monday. He said: "I had a good chat with Harry. It was nothing earth-shattering as people are seeking.

"Just a good chat, introduced myself, and we spoke mainly about the club, where it's at and where he thinks can improve. It's not a specific vision for one person, it's about the group and we're perfectly aligned on that - we want to see a successful team this year."
