Emmerdale airs the big reveal for one couple next week, as an affair is discovered in heartbreaking scenes for one resident.
After suspicions initially arise earlier in the week, the truth ends up coming out - and it could lead to a second fling in the fallout.
Fans know that nurse Wendy Posner has been cheating on Bob Hope with her colleague Dr Liam Cavanagh, and only Victoria Sugden knows the truth for now.
But next week Bob does end up learning the truth, and he could end up having a fling of his own in retaliation. It all kicks off when Liam surprises Wendy with a night away as the affair rumbles on, despite previous attempts to cool things.
Wendy is left feeling guilty as she calls Bob to let him know she’s going away - but Bernice Blackstock, Bob's business partner, has realised the truth.

Bernice tells Bob exactly what has been going on behind his back, leaving him stunned - but he refused to believe her after a near kiss between them weeks ago.
Bob lashes out at Bernice leaving her feeling hurt. Later, Bernice watches Wendy and Liam drive off in disbelief with them not appearing to care how obvious they are being.

Alarm bells begin to ring for the character and he soon rushes off to make an urgent phone call - but who is it to? Soon enough, Bob discovers the affair and confides in Bernice.
He tells her he knows the truth and that she was right, as he admits he called up the hotel and made the discovery. Bernice wishes she could scoop him up and make everything okay, and it seems things may take a turn.
As for Wendy, she devastates Liam at the hotel as she says she wants to stop the affair and heads to another bedroom. But it could be too late to save things with Bob.
Back in the village, Bob is tempted to join Bernice for the night - but will he go through with it? It's safe to say Wendy has no idea how her actions may change things for the couple forever.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
