Emmerdale fans think they have already "rumbled" Bernice Blackstock's exit storyline after it was reported that Samantha Giles is quitting the hit ITV soap.
According to reports, Bernice will depart the village later this year in a storyline not yet confirmed but the door will be left open for her to return.
Viewers will recall that this isn't the first time Bernice has fled the village and she has had four stints and three exits since her arrival in 1998.
Sources claim that Samantha's character, Bernice, has been "in and out" of the idyllic Yorkshire village-based soap more than the beer barrels at The Woolpack have been changed.

The Mirror has reached out to the show for comment on the story.
Despite nothing being confirmed as of yet, it hasn't stopped viewers from speculating about a potential exit storyline for Bernice and it could involve ex-Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher), who left in 2016.
Taking to Twitter one person said: "I was always rooting for Andy Sugden to turn back up and whisk her away into the sunset."
To which a different account replied: "Me too! I always hoped there would be a reunion for them. Her and Liam were nothing compared. Ya never know, they could return one day together hand in hand" with an eyes emoji.
While another soap watcher added: "Andy returns and she leaves with him?"

One fan wrote: "Wonder who will take over her share of the B n B" to which a different account relied: "I reckon she will leave b&b to Bob he buys her out, good luck next what you do. All the best Sam watched you since day one."
Viewers will have to stay tuned to see how she apparently leaves the show, amid hints of a romance with Bob earlier this year.
Bob has yet to uncover his current partner Wendy Posner is having an affair with Bernice's ex Liam Cavanagh right under his nose.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
