Meghan Markle caught in 'deliberate' attempt to 'downplay Hollywood glamour'
Megan Markle made a "deliberate attempt to downplay her Hollywood glamour" as she headed on a day out without her husband Prince Harry, according to an expert.
The Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a solo outing in her Californian neighbourhood last week as she visited her local farmers' market. With Harry nowhere to be seen, Meghan was seen browsing the stalls with a security guard and her beagle in tow.
A PR expert has suggested she wanted to "show independence" and prove to people that she "is not entirely defined by her relationship".
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Kieran Elsby said: "Meghan is ticking all the boxes. It's more than likely that Meghan's solo outing was a deliberate attempt to downplay her Hollywood glamour and show independence."

Kieran, director of Media PR Global, added: "With a casual outfit and down-to-earth chat she could gain respect back."
During her outing, Meghan wore a casual outfit as she opted for an unbuttoned white shirt over a camel-coloured maxi dress. She added a pair of black flip flops and dark sunglasses.
She carried her belongings in a sustainable straw handbag as she walked through the various stalls.

The Duchess of Sussex stopped to chat to locals during her outing, with Kieran saying her decision to support local business shows she "wants to make a difference to individuals".
Speaking about the reason behind Meghan's solo trip, the PR expert added: "I think Meghan's solo outing means she is positioning herself as an individual figure not a celeb-couple. It's certainly an interesting development, and one that will likely be closely watched by the media and the public.
"I think she is trying to assert her independence and show that she is not entirely defined by her relationship with Prince Harry."
He added: "Only time will tell what the future holds for Meghan and Prince Harry, but she wants to carve out a path for herself."
