Elle Brooke is refusing to fight her sister Emily in the Kingpyn losers bracket after the siblings were matched up against each other.
Brooke suffered her first boxing defeat last weekend as she was beaten by Brazilian social media star Jully Poca in the semi-finals of Kingpyn's High Stakes tournament in Dublin. Her sister Emily was also defeated on the same night as she lost a lopsided decision to 6arbie6.
The defeats mean Brooke and Emily were supposed to fight each other at the finals of the competition, which are expected to take place at The O2 arena next month. Both sisters previously welcomed the fight but Brooke has now backtracked on the match-up as she wants to take some time away from the ring.

"I am not fighting my sister [Emily Brooke] in a losers bracket," she tweeted. "I plan to take some time away from the gym, focus on creating content and travelling for a while, then come back when there is a fight that makes sense. Plus I need to get back down to my natural weight. I still want to one day. I am still young enough to work towards it. Not sure how fighting my sister for no reason would benefit that."

Brooke has been fighting almost 10kg above her natural weight for the Kingpyn competition, which takes place at 63.5kg for the women's bracket. Her contract with Kingpyn expires at the end of next month and it's expected that Brooke will make her return to Misfits Boxing after making her debut for the promotion in January.

Her sister Emily also suffered defeat at the eventEmily is yet to give her take on fighting her sister, but she seemed to confirm her stance on it by retweeting Elle's original tweet. Emily only took up boxing a few weeks before her ring debut against Amber O'Donnell in April and she commended Elle for her achievements in the ring.
"She was the one that actually recommended for me to get into it," Emily told Mirror Fighting. "It's made me appreciate what she's done so much more, because it's really hard. It's so nice to have her support, I feel very lucky and blessed. I think a fight against her [Elle] would be exciting. It would be the fight of the tournament, me and my sister have had some scraps in the past. It would definitely be an entertaining one."
