Mason Greenwood and his girlfriend have announced they've given birth to their first child.
Greenwood made the announcement on Instagram, posting a picture of the couple holding the hand of the new arrival. The caption simply read '11.07.23' with a white heart emoji.
The date posted suggests the baby was born on Tuesday. It is the first picture posted on the social media platform by Greenwood, 21, since January 2022, and within 20 minutes of being uploaded had attracted over 52,000 likes.
Only this week, Greenwood was pictured undergoing fitness work with Manchester United teammate Anthony Elanga.
He is currently being linked with a move away from United, but neither a transfer nor loan move has materialised yet for the former England international. A switch to the Serie A appears the most likely outcome, with Atalanta, Roma, and Juventus all registering their interest.

He was unable to force his way back into the squad thereafter, although manager Gareth Southgate didn't initially rule out a recall, saying: "He is in our thoughts, I've spoken with him and his club, he is a player we really like."
