EastEnders star Gillian Taylforth has had her say on speculation over the mystery Christmas Day killer, who will seemingly kill a male character later this year.
Viewers know that on Christmas Day, a male character will be killed off in dramatic scenes but their identity is not known. Six female characters are at the scene of the crime, and one of them is tipped to be the killer.
One of those characters are Kathy, who is seen wearing a ripped dress with a shocked look on her face - but is Kathy the killer? Actress Gillian teased it could be the case, leading to a prison twist.
Speaking to press, she revealed the six ladies had bonded over their huge storyline while none of them know yet which of them is the killer. They also don't know who dies, and have been speculating amongst each other over the man's identity.

The actress then said of whether it's her: "Oh, I said, 'It could be me this time, I could be in prison next year, I could be in prison.'
"I’ve thought about that. It could be something like the Orient Express where we've all killed him, or her or whoever it is, and... then we all say it’s us and we’ve got to stick up for one another. So we've got no idea whatsoever."
It comes after a twist on Thursday that saw Rocky lose his honeymoon with Kathy to Nish Panesar during a game of poker.
On if this could push Kathy to murder Nish she said: "I don't think it could be linked to that. But karma is a great thing. And he does get a comeuppance for that, anyway, for stealing my honeymoon. Don't worry about that."
Thursday's episode saw a pair of cufflinks thrown into the mix and given to a male character from another. They have huge relevance to the looming death on the BBC soap, as they are worn by the victim as shown in the flashforward clip released in February.

But Rocky didn't want them and ended up giving them to Jack Branning, to which Nish said: "Wear them with health". Of course this has to be a nod to the fact whoever is wearing them on Christmas Day ends up dead.
Viewers suggested Nish would have a second pair or that they might be a family heirloom, and that Nish losing his cufflinks was likely a red herring.
One fan tweeted: "I know Jack took the cufflinks, but does Nish, have another pair because knowing his flash a**e he does." A second viewer tweeted about the cufflinks: "They’re no doubt a family heirloom. They’ll end up back in one of the Panesar’s hands again, hopefully!"
So it seems fans are still convinced Nish is the victim after his recent drama with several residents, and no doubt more ahead.
