New York Jets running back Breece Hall says that the team will “have an answer for everything” thanks to Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets will have Rodgers as their new quarterback following a trade with the Green Bay Packers in April. In exchange for several draft picks - including a conditional 2024 second round pick - Rodgers made the switch to New York and will embark on a new chapter in his NFL career.

Rodgers had previously been with the Packers for 18 years after being drafted in 2005. The 39-year-old has won one Super Bowl and been named NFL MVP four times, including in back-to-back years in 2020 and 2021.

Hall is getting ready for his second season in the NFL after being drafted in the second round with the 36th overall pick in 2022. The running back says he is looking forward to working with Rodgers, and claims that the Jets will have a formidable offence.

"I mean with the offence we have right now, I think we have an answer for everything," Hall told the NFL Network.

"If you don't want to load the box, Aaron's going to get the ball off all day, if you do we've got the RPOs (run pass options) and we've got him to take shots, and we have the receivers that are going to make plays for us as well. And if the offense is struggling, we have the backbones of our defense to rely on, so we're excited for that, for sure."

Hall’s rookie season in the NFL was disrupted after suffering a serious knee injury in the Week Seven win over the Denver Broncos on October 23 last year. The running back suffered an ACL tear in his left knee which ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

Before the injury, Hall was enjoying a successful start to his NFL career, amassing 463 yards with 80 carries and four touchdowns in his seven games. The 22-year-old will now be working to get ready ahead of what will be his second year in the league.

Reflecting on his current fitness levels, Hall explained how he’s in a good place ahead of the new season.

"I'm doing pretty good right now," Hall said, when asked about his rehab. "I've been saying I'll be ready for the first game, so right now I'm just focusing on getting my knee as strong as possible, just getting that confidence back. But it's been going well so far."

The Jets have four pre-season games over the course of August, starting with the Hall of Fame game against the Cleveland Browns on August 4. That will be followed by games against the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Giants.

Hall has expressed his intent to be fit and available for the Jets’ opening game of the season. The team’s campaign begins on September 11 with the first Monday Night Football of the season.
