Gogglebox's Joe Baggs left 'shaking' after meeting Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle

Gogglebox star Joe Baggs might have a whole hoard of famous pals but he was left completely starstruck after meeting Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle.

The television personality who first joined the hit Channel 4 programme in 2020 instantly went on to become a fan favourite and entertained millions. However, Joe and his family decided to leave the programme after just three series following the end of series 18.

Since then, Joe and George have gone on to appear on various shows and have become full-time social media influencers and racked up even more famous fans.

While attending the recent Barbie movie premiere in London, Joe appeared on the pink carpet alongside the leading actors, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling – but also some very famous faces who he admits finding strange that they recognise him.

"I said to George, 'It's so mental from watching telly on the sofa with our family', to Amanda Holden running up to me saying 'Hello, how are you?'", said Joe, before adding: "And chatting to Rylan Clark and things like that. I actually chatted to Nadine Coyle.

"It's so funny because there are so many people that I've met in the past year that I've just not been fazed by and I had the shakes, my hands were shaking. I was like 'I am so obsessed with you!' – she got in my TikTok as well which was so much fun.

"It's madness, we take it in our stride, George and I are working so hard at the minute to try and be creative in what we're doing. Take things to new heights, and get the podcasts going, we were really happy to be there."

Discussing his experience on the pink carpet, Joe said: "It was fun. It was one of the most mental carpets I've ever done, to be honest, it was so busy, insanely busy, but yeah, that was amazing. The film was amazing as well."

"It was unreal. Everyone was so lovely though, it was a really good vibe on the carpet – I was so starstruck. I'm a massive fan of Margot so seeing her in real life and seeing how pretty she is, it was unreal."

However, Joe was left devastated when he struggled to get a picture with Aussie star Margot Robbie, explaining: "I was behind her but the security guard was the biggest man, I was like 'He's going to fold me in half if I try and get in there', Ekin-Su was in front of me and she managed to get a picture with her which was cool."

Joe teased that he and his brother George are working on a string of exciting plans but were unable to discuss his latest ventures since stepping down from the Channel 4 programme.
