You'll likely want to keep your neighbours sweet, but it's definitely a two-way street, so you'll want those next door to be as considerate of you as you are to them. If the kindness goes both ways, you'll be able to live next to each other harmoniously, living your own lives, whilst also being able to be a part of each other's should you need anything.
But what would you do if your neighbour managed to leave your back garden in an absolute state after a gender reveal, with bits of pink scattered all over the grass - when the party didn't even take place in your garden?
An annoyed forum user took to Reddit's to share a photo of their garden, which also showed their neighbour's privacy fence so others can't look in - but their backyard was trashed.
They fumed: "Neighbours had a gender reveal. This was how the backyard looked after the fact. I have a dog that can't be let out until it's cleaned up, and this isn't even half of it."
Some people were quick to point out that the garden didn't look too bad, with someone saying all they needed to do was clean the "confetti by the pool", but others understood the frustration that they felt.

One wrote: "Yeah that's some bulls**t. I'd knock and tell them they need to come clean your yard up. Not to mention the pollution that's going to slowly make its way into the ecosystem around you."
"That's how you build a good relationship with your neighbour", someone sarcastically quipped.
Another fumed: "Yep...I would tell that neighbour to come and get their s**t picked up out of my yard. F**k them."
"A d**k move for sure", a Redditor agreed. "If they were so hell-bent on celebrating a gender like this, they should have scoured the neighbours to make sure they didn't litter into their yards."
