The Amazon Prime Day sale has officially kicked off, and there's plenty of beauty bargains to grab right now which you can shop here.

If you've been looking for a pain-free alternative to shaving, waxing or plucking, but don't have thousands to spend on laser, there's a device which shoppers say gives 'just as good' results - and you can get £150 off it right now.

Originally priced at £449.99, the Philips Lumea 8000 Prestige IPL Hair Removal device has been dropped to £299.99 in the Amazon Prime Day sale which works out less than you'd pay for two sessions of laser hair removal if done in a salon.

The device boasts Philips innovative IPL, short for 'Intense Pulsed Light' technology which destroys the hair at the root and breaks the cycle of hair regrowth - over time leaving your skin hair-free and super smooth.

It’s said to work effectively on a wide variety of hair and skin types too - from naturally dark blonde and brown to black coloured hairs, however it cannon’t be used to treat white/grey, light blonde or red hair.

Included you’ll get four attachments for your body, face, bikini and underarms - plus a free access to the Lumena App which helps you create a personalised treatment schedule with reminders, tips and advice during each treatment to achieve long-lasting results.

It's received plenty of glowing reviews on the Amazon website too, with shoppers calling it 'life-changing' and 'worth every penny.'

One delighted shopper said: “I wish I had gotten this sooner! I have very stubborn hair growth on my chin, upper lip and cheeks are common areas for a lot of PCOS sufferers. After only 2 treatments, I have already noticed much slower hair growth. I am not needing to shave as often whereas before I would need to shave daily."

While a second added: “I’ve paid a fortune for professional treatment off and on for years and this works just as well as any treatment I’ve had in clinics. It’s easy to use, painless and there was a noticeable difference after the second treatment.”

The first 4 treatments must be carried out every 2 weeks, after which you should already be able to see the desired results. To maintain your results, simply touch up every 4 weeks, and after just 8 touch up treatments you should be hair-free for 12 whole months - what a dream, especially for summer!

You can pick up the Philips Lumea IPL Hair Removal 8000 Series here for just £299.99 - but remember, you'll have to be an Amazon Prime member to grab the discount.
