Amazon Prime members are flocking to take advantage of the big Prime Day sales, where prices on all sorts from Kindles and TVs to kombucha and toys have dropped. Prices manage to get even lower with limited availability Lightning Deals.

One Lightning Deal that's caught our attention here at the Mirror is Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur, a creamy liqueur with a texture similar to Baileys that is now just £11.99, with it costing £15.99 usually. Shoppers are snapping up the deal with 36% of the stock being claimed at the time of writing.

Coming in a gold bottle that makes it look somewhat like a Ferrero Rocher and having a creamy drink inside that fans have compared to Chocolate Baileys, it's a nice addition to any alcohol collection. There are milk chocolate, custard and butterscotch with touches of cinnamon spice in the drink that make it great over ice as an end of dinner drink or to give a boozy touch to any dessert.

With an ABV of 17% it's praised for not being overly strong, although it is important to drink responsibly whenever consuming alcohol. Having almost 2,000 global reviews it's clear that Mozart is building up a reputation for itself.

One shopper penned: "Purchased for wife . She says it’s nearly as nice as chocolate Baileys. Cheaper by £6 . That’s handy!"

A second wrote: "I have purchased almost all of the varieties of the Mozart liqueurs. This is the favourite. So chocolatey, and you can tell it’s Belgian chocolate too. It’s superb on its own or mixed with the white chocolate version. The stubby shaped bottle is adorable too and doubles as a vase once used up."

A third said: "Bought as a gift for a Mozart chocolate lover, and went down well (literally!). Smooth, thick and chocolatey, deceptively easy to drink, with less of a pronounced alcohol flavour than, say, Baileys. Good if you like this kind of thing, and the cute round bottle is lovely presentation-wise, a bit cloying if you're more of a clear spirit drinker."

Baileys alternative slashed to £11.19 in Amazon Prime Day Lightning DealThe white chocolate version has also dropped in price (Amazon/Mozart)

The Milk option isn't the only one that's dropped in price, Mozart's White Chocolate Cream Liqueur is now £11.38 in a Prime Day exclusive price. It received a Gold medal at the 2018 World Spirits Awards and has notes of vanilla, caramel, fresh cream as well as warm overtones of white chocolate.

It's slightly less boozy than it's milk counterpart with it having an ABV of 15%, and it claims to have 60% less fat than most Irish creams. Shoppers insist it's like Baileys with one writing: "If you like Baileys, you will love this."

Another penned: "I like that the taste and consistency isn't overwhelming- if you're looking for something strong and super full bodied, this isn't for you. This is pleasant, soft but also tasty. It's perfect in my mind and I genuinely enjoy this more than established drinks like Baileys."
