Sharon Osbourne showed off her weight loss as she indulged in a Beverly Hills shopping trip on Wednesday.

The 70-year-old TV star recently revealed that she lost 30lb (2.1 stone) in just four months after taking controversial weight loss injections, but admitted to others that it left her "very sick" and was not "a quick fix" to stay healthy.

And having stopped using the injections now, the former X Factor judge was seen displaying her slimmer figure as she headed for a spot of shopping at the high-end store Estefano Ricci before picking up some food at Nate'n Al's.

Sharon looked casually chic in a long button-down white shirt which she teamed with tailored black trousers. The television personality toted her belongings in an oversized Loewe shoulder bag while a large white had and stylish shades protected her from the sunny rays.

Sharon's sighting comes after she spoke candidly about getting "very sick" after using a controversial weight loss jab. Speaking on Sharon's old show, The Talk, in May, her fellow panellist Daisy McAndrew explained how weight loss isn't as simple as increasing exercise.

"It doesn't work like that for a lot of people's metabolism," she said.

Sharon agreed: "It doesn't. It is a mental problem. It really is, apart from, you know, when children grow up in a household where they live off chips and pies.

"But I took it. I took it for four months, and I lost 30 pounds, but like everything, there's always no quick recipe."

Explaining her health struggles, she added: "I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.

"But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds. I've just shoved two chips in my mouth while we had the break, and I eat normally now, and I haven't put on a pound. Nothing."

Her comments came after it was announced that WeGovy's launch in the UK had been put on pause over fears that demand would be too high. The initial plan was for patients to inject themselves weekly using a pen, and the drug works by making people feel fuller and more satisfied, so they eat less.

This comes as celebrities such as Elon Musk claimed to have used the drug, with many in Hollywood referring to it as "the skinny shot".

Semaglutide medications such as Ozempic have become the subject of global shortage, with the demand for the drug exceeding the supply. Some reported adverse effects of Ozempic include: nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and vomiting.
